Schultz Wins Scrappy Lorain Run, Points Chase Tightens

South Amherst, Ohio…Charlie Schultz is making his case a contender for the PPG Vibrance Collection Midwest Supermodified Association title after winning at Lorain County Speedway Saturday night. Angola, IN…The PPG Vibrance Collection Midwest Supermodified Association stars and cars made their second visit ever to the Hoosier state and first visit to Angola Speedway Saturday night. Schultz Repeats at Sandusky , Third MSA Triumph of �08

Sandusky , Ohio …Two weeks ago Charlie Shultz battled defending Champion Dave Shullick Jr. for the win at Sandusky Speedway. This Saturday night Schultz found Shullick and multi-time champion Tim Jedrzejek on his heels as the checkered flag fell for his second straight supermodified triumph.

Rain earlier in the day didn’t dampen the spirits of sixteen supermodified drivers as they lined up for the seventh round of the PPG Vibrance Collection Series event of 2008. Veterans Denny Fisher and Jack Smith formed the front row of the field but the initial start was called back due to a Terry Gibson spin in turn four.

Schultz Charges To Sandusky MSA Win

Sandusky, Ohio. In the first five events of the 2008 PPG Vibrance Collection Midwest Supermodified Association season, Dave Shullick and Tim Jedrzejek gathers two wins apiece to Charlie Schultz's one. Schultz, the current point’s leader in the series evened the score by blasting his way to the front early and holding on at the end to notch his second win of the year in the supermodified series. MSA and Oswego Drivers Return to Battle This Saturday

Sandusky, Ohio.After the 2006 season MSA president and Sandusky Speedway owner Kevin Jaycox and Oswego Speedway owners Pat Furlong and Steve Gioia got together and came up with a three race program pitting the two groups of drivers against each other. TIMMY J TAKES THE LOW ROAD TO VICTORY AT BURKE'S MSA-OSWEGO WING SERIES SHOW AT

Oswego, NY - A couple of years ago Independence, Ohio's Timmy Jedrzejek was about to write off his racing career after a bad accident at Sandusky Speedway. But the write-off never materialized. On May 31, Timmy pulled into MSA PPG Vibrance victory lane at the track which had almost precipitated his racing demise. Saturday night, he raced from his 12th starting spot at Oswego's MSA-Oswego Wing Series 40 to claim his second win in a week in the Reed's Salvage number 8. The two wins meant a lot more than a checkered flag and a trophy. It meant he was back confidently running the supermodifieds he once thought he might never race again. (Click READ MORE!)

DAVE SHULLICK JR SPUTTERS TO A SPENCER BURKE'S MSA-OSWEGO WIN

Williamson, NY - The last time a winged supermodified turned a wheel at Spencer Speedway near Rochester, NY, Dave Shullick Jr. probably wasn't old enough to get in the pits. That didn't give him a disadvantage as he quickly figured out how to win the Burke's
MSA-Oswego wing series checkered on Friday night. He kept the car tight despite some second thoughts. Luck also played a role as the second-generation driver ran out of fuel near race end,lost the lead to the only other race leader Denny Fisher, then regained it on the last lap to end up with the win. It was Shullick's first-ever win at the Spencer flat half mile and his second of the PPG Vibrance Collection MSA season. (Click READ MORE)
